It's slash. Not yaoi. Slash. Yaoi is the Japanese term for relatively plotless, sex-filled stories and comics.

What I draw/write is slash, which is more true to the characters and focuses on the relationship as opposed to the sex.

And as for why ... because it's fun? For shits and giggles? Because it makes sense given the canon? Just to screw with your head?

Take your pick.
